Compass CHC is now a Living Wage accredited employer

We’re proud to share that we’ve been recognised by the Living Wage Foundation as a Living Wage accredited employer, confirming our commitment to paying the real Living Wage.

What this accreditation means
The Living Wage Foundation’s real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate calculated on the real cost of living. It’s a voluntary rate (separate from the government’s minimum wage rates) that is reviewed each year to reflect what people need to get by.

Living Wage accreditation means we’re committed to paying at least the real Living Wage to our directly employed colleagues and to regular contracted staff.

Why it matters

  • Fair pay: helping ensure everyone is paid a rate that better reflects the cost of living.
  • Doing the right thing: formal recognition of our commitment to responsible employment.
  • Supporting great work: contributing to a workplace where people can focus on doing their best work.

Tim Davies, CEO of Compass CHC said:

“Becoming Living Wage accredited reflects our values of integrity and compassion. In the same way we work to ensure our clients receive fair treatment throughout the CHC assessment process, we want to invest in our colleagues and make sure they are treated fairly too – starting with pay that reflects the real cost of living.”
