Although my father, who is 90 years old and has vascular dementia wasn’t at the stage that they could help, I was very impressed with the truthfulness. We recently attended an extremely challenging second checklist meeting about our relative’s healthcare. In the minefield that is NHS funded care provision, it is necessary to have an experienced company and experts to hold your hand, guide you through the processes, help you jump through the hoops and generally be on hand to offer help and advice.

We were represented today by Joanna who presented our case with great calm and persuasion. It is clearly a very complicated benefit and she showed great knowledge of the criteria and also our mothers symptoms so i feel we have had the best chance of our appeal being reviewed favourably.

To secure this funding is a mammoth task and not something we would have been able to do ourselves. Their in depth fact finding was absolutely incredible. I had never heard of CHC funding, it was a work colleague of my sister that brought Compass CHC to our attention. Discovering Compass CHC has meant that I have been able to keep a roof over my head as I had reached the stage where my only option was to sell my home to cover my Mum's care home costs.
